Identity theft on the rise

Hi everyone!  I'm Heather DeMarco at the Untapped Wealth business desk.
I'd like to close this week by giving you a bit of a tip to chew on and it concerns the fast rise in identity theft.
It seems as if these hackers are everywhere!  On the Internet, on the phone, and even searching your garbage for information on you.  They're after your address, your social insurance number, your banking details, your passwords, and anything that can help them to know just a tiny bit about you.  Then they take this info and go to work to do things like forge your signatures, acquire credit cards in your name, steal your pin number, your social insurance number, take out mortgages in your name, and reap havoc with your bank accounts.
One may think that there's no way to stop these thugs but there is.  For starters:  Buy yourself a paper shredder and shred all of your relevant information that contains anything like your address, social insurance and/or credit card numbers, bank account information, and so on.  Never throw away bank or credit statements without first shredding them.  Do not create passwords using the names of your kids or spouses or your birth date.  Create passwords with numbers and obscure names or words but words or names that only you can remember.  Change your passwords regularly.  Never leave your credit card unattended in a store or a restaurant and when the waiter brings you your receipt to sign make sure that you either rip up your copy or take it home with you and do it there.  If there is a third copy to the receipt in addition to your copy and a copy for the restaurant or store, make sure that it is destroyed before you leave.
There are lots of other tips that you can take advantage of but for now pay close attention to these.

A niche market waiting for you

Good day everyone!  I'm Jeff N Marquis co-author of "Untapped Wealth Discovered."
Today I'd like for you to meet two clients of ours.  They live in England, they are best of friends, and their names are Katie and Maura.
Three years ago on one of my  trips to Britain I bumped into these two fabulous ladies in a pub and we got chatting.  They had both just retired from their jobs as nurses and they were looking for something to do with their time.  We got talking and I really liked their attitude and before I left them I gave them my business card and told them to contact us if they felt that they wanted to talk more.  Upon my return to America there was an email waiting for me from Katie and Maura and the rest is history.
At first we communicated with them via email and then it grew into weekly long distance calls.  This went on for about six months but at the end of this we had helped Katie and Maura to develop a market plan for them to go into business as senior home and hospital entertainers whereby they would entertain seniors and persons in hospitals with their piano and electric keyboard playing.  This was something very new for us because we had never helped anyone in this field before and we were not sure how this would turn out but these ladies wanted to try and were determined to make a go of it.  So off they went and we decided to follow their progress as well as lend some extra support.
Today, we are happy to report that Katie and Maura are doing very well at their new careers and enjoying it immensely.  They are making a neat little income annually and they are very happy with their profits.  No, they are not making six figure incomes but enough to make their lives more comfortable and affordable.  We can safely say that they have found a very unique niche and they are using their skills and motivation to make it work.  I truly believe that there are thousands unique little niches just waiting out there for you to discover and it's what we talk about in our book "Untapped Wealth Discovered."  If you'd like to learn how to discover these little niches and alcoves of opportunity then give our book a read.  You have absolutely nothing to lose and everything to gain.

Computer services on wheels

Hey there!  I'm Alix Shadonnay at the business desk.
Today I'd like to give you a hot tip on a certain type of service that is in great demand these days and the experts are predicting that this type of service is only going to be more and more demanded as the days go by.  You're probably asking why this is and tell you.
More and more seniors and aging baby boomers are turning to the Internet and as a result they are seeking those persons who are willing to come to their homes to help them set up and install their computers, software, Internet connections, plus much more.  These types of consumers are seeking convenience over going out to look for these types of services and they have the money to pay for what they are seeking.  In addition, many of them are what we call technically shy because they did not grow up in the computer age so they are also looking for training and support.
This is a very niche market and if you're interested in interacting with people and helping to get on board the computer technology bandwagon then this could be a very lucrative opportunity for you.
On another topic:  If you're looking for language coaches to help you compose professional emails, articles, newsletters, and more, then you need to visit  This company can help you to communicate your business affairs in French, Spanish, Cantonese, and Mandarin and they also provide one on one language coaching in these languages.  They are professional and extremely caring and affordable.

The problem with Ikea

Good morning!  I'm Kerry J Harrison co-author of "Untapped Wealth Discovered."
This morning I'd like to zero in on a very large Swedish establishment known as Ikea.  This establishment is well known throughout Europe and most of North America for its excellent service, large variety of household products, and very economic prices.  It is a worthy competitor to Home Depot, Wall Mart, and Canadian Tire in the household department industry and it continues to do well in North America.  However, we have been receiving a steady stream of complaints over the past six months re something which I feel is very important to the well being of our aging baby boomers, seniors, and special needs persons consumers.
Despite its fine reputation Ikea seems to be falling down very badly re the way it caters to these types of consumers.  When someone goes to Ikea to purchase furniture they are treated to receiving their furniture that is unassembled and it is almost always packed in huge and heavy boxes and the buyer has to struggle to manoeuvre these heavy boxes to their car without any help from the Ikea staff.  This type of service may not be a problem for those younger able bodied customers but for those who are unable to carry heavy loads such as the types of consumers that I have mentioned above it is a definite problem.  In addition, Ikea has laid out its stores in a way that one has to serve themselves and this means having to take down heavy boxes from high shelves.
I'd like to point out a few things to Ikea and I hope that other similar types of businesses take note because it could mean losing valuable customers and tons of revenue if these points are not addressed and corrected in a hurry.  With a rapidly aging population businesses need to become more aware of the needs of our seniors and build their services accordingly.  If seniors are unable to receive convenient services from Ikea and others they will quickly turn to other businesses that are willing and ready to accommodate their needs.  By 2010 it is estimated that over 60% of our North American population is expected to be over 65 and the experts are telling us that they are expected to be owners of about 70% of our banking assets.  This means that this group of consumers is going to be the most influential and it would be in Ikea's best interest to start taking note immediately.
If you need more evidence of the needs and demands of our rapidly aging population then please give my book a read.  I have co-authored "Untapped Wealth Discovered" with Jeff N Marquis and it's our second book.  We are planning to come out with our third book in the early Spring and in all of our books we tell you how you can take advantage of growing demand, short supply, and rapidly expanding markets that are all based on rapidly aging consumers.

How ready are we for the avian flu?

Hello there!  I'm Matt Chadwick at the Untapped Wealth business desk.
Now that Spring's here and the annual migration of our feathered friends is in full swing, our thoughts turn to whether or not they are going to bring that dreaded avian flu to our shores.  They are coming North from those countries where the flu has already made its presence known and both the American and Canadian governments seem to be making preparations for certain possibilities and eventualities.  For like it or not if this dreaded flu is allowed to reap havoc among our populations it is undoubtedly going to affect our work places in a very big way.  The experts are gloomily predicting that billions of dollars will be lost in revenues if we don't take the necessary precautions because at any one time literally hundreds of thousands of workers could be laid up at home booking in sick.  So what does all of this mean?
Employers should be making plans to allow their employees to work more from home.  E commerce websites should be racing to ensure that their websites are ready to receive hundreds of thousands of new customers as more and more persons would need or choose to shop online rather than risk going to malls and the Internet as a whole would become more important as a place of doing business.  Out of this gloomy forecast comes a reality that small businesses can make themselves more available to their customers if they take the time to keep up todate with the progress of how our government plans to deal with the oncoming avian flu.
If you are seeking to beef up your websites and make them more visitor friendly and content rich then may I suggest that you visit  This company has a very qualified staff of content writers that can help you to get your websites ready to receive your potential new customers.  They have offices in both America and Canada and they are standing by to offer you quality services at an affordable price and are especially geared to helping small businesses.

The 35 year mortgage on the rise

Hi there!  I'm Jayna Sheffield at the business desk.
Not sure how many of you know about the rising trend towards the 35 year mortgage that seems to be taking off across North America these days but here goes.
More and more financial institutions across North America are offering the 35 year mortgage to home buyers as a means of enticing them to buy homes that would normally be out of their reach.  What this means is that buyers would now have an opportunity to carry a mortgage that they can share with their kids and even grand kids.  So, mom and dad would buy the house today and start off paying the mortgage and 20 to 25 years later the kids would then pick up the slack and continue to pay this very long term mortgage and if it came to that the grand kids would probably get into the mix as well.
Banks are promoting this mortgage as a means of encouraging younger couples to buy bigger homes, their dream homes.  However, what they are not telling these potential big home buyers is that by the time the mortgage is paid off the family as a whole would have paid thousands of dollars more in interest which would amount to paying almost twice the amount for the house.  In summary:  Let's say that the house were to cost $300,000 today and Mr and Mrs Smith were to take out a 35 year mortgage.  In 35 years time when the mortgage is supposed to be paid off the Smith family would have paid more than $500,000 in total for the house.  Yes, interest payments over the course of the 35 years would probably account for this huge total.
Before you decide to go into this type of mortgage, do your calculations and figure out what it is going to cost you and your family in the long run.  I can guarantee you that a house you buy today for $300,000 would very likely end up costing you and your family much more in 35 years from now.  In addition, you need to think about whether or not your kids would be in a position to continue the payments.
On another note:  If you're looking to get your kids started on their own business venture for the Summer then you may be in luck.  "Untapped Wealth discovered" has several ideas that you can use to help you out.  This book contains some very interesting strategies for your kids and many of them are easy, economic, and simple to put into operation.

A growing trend towards more family dinners at home

Good morning!  I'm Kerry J Harrison co-author of "Untapped Wealth Discovered."
There is a very interesting trend that is slowly snaking its way across America these days and it has to do with families making more of an effort to eat more regularly together at home.  A few weeks ago Kelly Preston, wife of John Travolta, gave her backing to such a trend as she teamed up with the folks at Country Crock to host a huge family dinner at her home.
If this trend really takes off then fast food chains may want to think about ways of combating it because they are the ones who may be most affected by such a trend.  I personally feel that more family dinners at home or eating more at home may not be a bad idea as it would help to strengthen family units as well as encourage more healthy eating.  However, a trend such as this could have ramifications for the food industry as well as other industries that depend on the food industry for their bread and butter revenues.  Keep an eye on this trend and if it indeed takes off then I'm sure that some enterprising folks would find ways to take advantage of its opportunities and possibilities.
Just as a side item:  If you're looking for ideas for a new part-time or sideline business, then I'd like to recommend that you buy our latest book "Untapped Wealth Discovered."  Our book is packed with strategies and ideas that can help you to create small businesses in markets where demand is distinctly ahead of supply.  Our book is affordable, does not contain any get rich quick schemes, and is based on real demand in real markets by real consumers.

Concerns about video games

Hey there!  I'm Alix Shadonnay at the business desk.
The video games arena seems to be boiling with some concerns these days and most of these concerns are coming from parents, teachers, and most of all law enforcement agencies.  It appears that more and more teens and even pre teens are falling victims to committing certain types of crimes based on certain types of video games.  Those types of video games that are filled with violence.  It also seems that some teens are using some video games to emulate things that they do.  For instance:  about two months ago in Toronto Canada two teens got into trouble with the law when they decided to take their parents' Mercedes and drag race down some residential streets of Toronto.  The result was that one of these teens crashed his car into an oncoming taxi cab and the driver was killed.  The police later found a copy of a video game called "The need for speed" on the front seat of the car that crashed into the taxi cab.
The experts are saying that events such as these may help to change the video game industry by reshaping the types of video games that are developed and sold.   There is already too much violence around us let alone having our youngsters use video games to create violent ideas.

Some valueable tips on the travel industry

Hello there!  I'm Matt Chadwick at the business desk.
This morning I'd like to pass on some helpful tips to you re the travel industry.  Did you know that when you book your trip on the Internet despite it being cheaper to do so, if you cancel there is no reimbursement from the airline?  Yes!  So many of us are of so excited to get cheaper fares that the one thing that we almost always fail to remember is that if we have to cancel there is no cancellation insurance available to us.  Another thing is that if you book through the Internet you don't have the ability to interact with a real person and many travel experts feel that it is almost always much better to interact with a live person when trying to do research on your travel aspirations.
Most airlines tempt you with glitzy travel discounts and cheap tours but nine out of 10 times you need to do some extra research in order to ensure that you are getting what you pay for.  The majority of our travel agents are very resourceful and knowledgeable when it comes to finding you those trips and tours that would satisfy your desires and in addition if you book through a travel agent you can definitely protect yourself by taking out cancellation insurance.
So here's the deal:  Book through the Internet and you get cheaper fares but no cancellation insurance is available to you and you do have to do more research in order to get what you're looking for.  Book through a travel agent and your fares are more expensive, but you get the cancellation insurance and they can do your research for you.  Your call.

Men choosing family over career?

Hi there!  I'm Jayna Sheffield at the Untapped Wealth business desk and boy do I have a surprise for you!  My source comes from a survey released last week that talks about a growing trend among men that shows that more and more men are choosing their family over their career.
According to this American-based survey more than 44% of American men surveyed expressed a strong preference for family over career.  Questions were asked about various topics related to the workplace and when it came to choosing a better career path or job over family life this growing group of men chose their family.  This group has been growing steadily over the past five years and it definitely signifies a change in workplace attitudes.  This result can be backed up with other stats that show that more and more men are choosing to take paternity leave.  It would be interesting to see how this trend affects career paths for men and whether or not family oriented men would have to face a glass ceiling in the future as our business women presently face.
Here's a suggestion for all you men who are looking for home based business careers:  You need to read "Untapped Wealth Discovered" written by Jeff N Marquis and Kerry J Harrison.  However, this book does not give you suggestions for get rich quick schemes or ideas filled with empty promises of making quick money.  It shows you how to find those opportunities that are safe, lucrative, and exciting.  Opportunities that are filled with creativity and common sense.  No scams, no schemes.

Six figure incomes in a niche market

Hi everyone I'm Heather DeMarco at the Untapped Wealth business desk.
Meet Scott!  A young man in his late twenties living in Maine.  Scott is happy to tell his story because these days he is doing extremely well in a market that is niche, growing, lucrative, and exciting.  Scott enjoys what he does and for the past seven years his business has been growing very surely and steadily and last year for the first time since opening his doors he surpassed the six figure annual income mark.
Scott is constantly busy and his assistants are also being kept busy six days a week 12 hours a day.  So what is this big success story all about?  Upon graduation Scott was unable to find employment in his chosen career as a computer technician so he decided to use one of his hobbies to help him get off the ground.  There was no way that he was going to wait around.  So off he went and with a low interest loan in hand he decided to take the appropriate courses in photography and when that was out of the way he went into business as a photographer taking baby and kids pictures.  In his words:  "It was not easy to start but I was determined to make a go of things and I'm sure glad that I stuck to my guns."
Scott has been able to find and create a niche for himself and we are using him as an example to show you that if you look hard enough you too can discover your own niche.  It is not easy but if you use your innate skills, interests, and throw in a handful of commitment and courage I am very sure that you will succeed and you won't have to depend on those very undependable get rich quick schemes.  If you are serious about finding those very hidden opportunities then you should read "Untapped Wealth Discovered" written by Jeff N Marquis and Kerry J Harrison.  This book is based solely on logic, strategy, and it does not make false promises of riches.  "Untapped Wealth Discovered" is a present affordable best seller that has the backing of both the American and British governments and I'm sure that you will find it great reading material.

Changes in the baby food industry

Good day everyone, I'm Jeff N Marquis co-author of "Untapped Wealth Discovered."
Something very interesting is taking place within the baby food industry these days and I wanted to mention it to you.  It appears that more and more parents are buying organic baby food and are opting to go the organic way rather than sticking to the regular and established brands and it also appears that our toddler population is only too pleased to oblige.  More and more supermarkets and corner groceries are stocking their shelves with organic baby food and the experts are saying that this trend is poised to take a huge jump for the next few years.  This may mean trouble for those long established baby food manufacturers unless they are able to develop and produce lines of organic baby food brands.  It would be interesting to see what they do but the lesson from this is that we should not keep relying or depending on long established types of demands to stand still.  Demands are going to change as consumers develop new tastes and one pitfall that so many companies fall into is to take consumers tastes for granted.  If you want to stay ahead of your competition then you need to keep your fingers on the pulse of your market and pay particular attention to what your consumers are demanding and craving.
On another note:  Are you looking for ghost writers to help you write those attention grabbing articles, newsletters, and logs?  Ghost writers who know how to help you bring traffic to your website and who are extremely affordable?  Then I urge you to visit and check out their writing and resources pages.

Trouble may be here for the soft drink industry

Hello there, I'm Matt Chadwick at the business desk.
Last week we learned that for the first time in 20 years sales were down on an annual basis for the soft drink industry.  It appears that Coca-Cola was at the wrong end of the stick as their sales dropped more than those of their competitors but Pepsi also suffered from the drop.
Experts are attributing this to the rise in consumption of such drinks as fruit juices and health and sports drinks but Pepsi to buffer its lost because of the rise in some of their health and sports drinks.
This should be a good indicator for us to use as we seek to keep up with the changing demands within the soft drink, food, and health industries and there is much for small businesses to learn as they too struggle to cope with changing demands.  The lesson here is for us all to listen to the pulse of our markets.  Listen to what our consumers are demanding and don't try to force our expectations or opinions on our consumers.  It almost never works.  Here's a hint for you:  If you want to stay ahead of your competitors then make sure that you stay in tune with the demands and tastes of your consumers.
If you'd like to learn how to read your markets more effectively and efficiently then you can do so by picking up "Untapped Wealth Discovered" written by Jeff N Marquis and Kerry J Harrison.  This book can help you to find real consumer demand in real markets and it is very affordable.  You have absolutely nothing to lose by reading it and everything to gain.

Potential changes coming to the travel industry

Good day everyone!  I'm Jeff N Marquis co-author of "Untapped Wealth Discovered."
As we find ourselves in the midst of the annual March break when so many of us with kids choose to travel to either warmer or colder climates depending on our preferences, we need to pay some close attention to a report that was published a few days ago by some experts in the travel industry.  These experts are saying that the time is almost here when airlines are going to either start charging you to put or carry your luggage to the aircraft or they are going to either hire or outsource these types of services to other companies.  There's more.  In addition, some North American airports have started to introduce two new types of security checks whereby they will be asking for your finger prints along with photographing the iris of your eyes.
The travel industry is really changing rapidly these days and travel as we knew it before the attacks in 2001 seems to be more of a trial rather than a joy.  Airlines are cutting so many services including in flight meals on short and medium length trips and if they decide to charge the traveling public for carriage and checking of luggage then this will mean even more cost cutting.  What more can we expect from these huge airlines who keep cutting costs but at the same time they keep increasing fares?  Something for us all to ponder.
Are you looking for professional translators to help you communicate to and from English to French, Spanish, Cantonese, and Mandarin?  Then here's a hot tip.  Visit to learn how you can find some very profit services at extremely reasonable costs.

Hi there!  I'm Jayna Sheffield at the business desk and today I'd like for you to meet Kevin a very successful disk jockey.
You may think that DJs are a dime a dozen and this may be true but Kevin has found a way to make himself a bit unique in his home town in Arkansas.  You see!  Most of Kevin's customers are high schools.  He hires himself out to high schools in addition to the regular weddings, church dances, and other types of dances and parties.  He used to work in a record store but about four years ago he was laid off and he decided to stay in the music industry and become a full fledged DJ.
Kevin makes a very comfortable six figure annual income and has been doing so for the last two years.  He works hard, and has expanded his business to include selling of electronic and stereo equipment.  He has three fulltime employees and business is good.  You may be wondering what recipe he is using for success and he would like you to know that his recipe is:  "developing and providing services to niche markets."  There are thousands of niche markets out there just waiting for you to discover and tap into them and you would be surprised to know how well you can do if you offer the right type of services to the right type of consumers in markets that are brimming with real demand.  If you are interested to learn how to discover and work in those niche markets that are lucrative and untapped then you should read "Untapped Wealth Discovered" written by Jeff N Marquis and Kerry J Harrison.  This book shows how and where to find niche markets that are overflowing with lucrative opportunities.  "Untapped Wealth Discovered" is extremely affordable and can be purchased at

The Google proposal

Hi everyone!  It's Heather DeMarco at the Untapped Wealth business desk.
This morning I would like to pass on an item that I gleaned off the news wires a few days ago.  It concerns a slip that Google made recently with regard to their proposed G drive.
Apparently Google is going to propose the offering by them of a G drive that would allow customers to store their emails, bookmarks, and files on their drive for a reasonable fee.  Although this may sound good it raises the concern over privacy and whether or not a customer's personal and confidential files can be kept private and confidential and in addition many are asking what would happen when a customer chooses to press the delete button to delete emails and files.  Where or what will Google do with these files?  Completely delete them or place them in an electronic trash bin?  Great food for thought!  Stay tuned for more.
Are you a potential or perspective small business woman looking for opportunities?  Having difficulty knowing where to start?  Not sure where to find those hidden and untapped markets?  Then look no further.  Visit to pick up one of the most affordable best sellers.  "Untapped Wealth Discovered" is a dynamite book written by Kerry J Harrison and Jeff N Marquis and this book will show those women who are thinking of opening up their own business how to do it right and safe.  You won't have to worry about pledging your assets, your kids, your home, or your husband.

The problem with Double Day

Hey there!  I'm Alix Shadonnay at the business desk.
For the past few months we have been receiving several complaints re the way Double Day treats its members.  It appears that this well known book club is using some very interesting techniques and tactics to practically bully their members into taking books from them.  From what we've been hearing, they get unsuspecting persons to sign up with them then they bombard them on a monthly basis with long lists of books and if you're not careful to put "Don't send" next to the books that you don't want they assume that you want them and they send them to you.  Next they bill you for the books that you never requested and they hound you like dogs after a bone until you either pay or close your account.  However, it's not the end.  Even if you put a "Don't send" next to the books that you don't want and send back the form to them they charge you for something called fulfillment charges then they start to threaten you by saying that they will send a collection agency after you if you don't pay up.
We decided to send an investigator to look into these complaints and sure enough our investigator found that Double Day is indeed using bullying tactics to threaten some of their customers.  Our investigator has found that the Double Day customer service department is much less than courteous and downright rude.  They are not willing to help and their threatening notes are totally out of hand.  One customer in particular has not ordered any books in over a year and they closed their account over three months ago.  Yet Double Day sees it fit to keep sending threatening notes telling this customer that if they don't pay the fulfillment fees they will send a collections agency after them.  From what our investigator could ascertain, this customer does not owe anything and has returned all of the unrequested books unopened and in tact.  So why is Double Day still hastling her?
If you're tired of working for someone else, if you would like to explore the idea of working for yourself, if you're tired of having to battle heavy traffic each day on your way to work, then you need to read "Untapped Wealth Discovered."  This book is filled with ideas to help you make the right decision and it is a present best seller.  It is affordable and is written by two authors with over 20 years of experience.

Pay close attention to your resume

Good morning!  I'm Kerry J Harrison co-author of "Untapped Wealth Discovered."
It seems as if there is a rising tendency for inaccurate resumes and in a recent survey published in the United States last week it was revealed that over 42% of resumes contain at least one inaccuracy and over 52% of them contain more than two inaccuracies.  We are living at a time when the rise in scams seems to be going unchecked and more and more companies are going to pay more attention to your resume because they want to ensure that what they see on your resume is indeed accurate.  Try selling a resume with at least one inaccuracy and the minute it is spotted by a perspective interviewer and both you and your resume will be toast.  No one is going to trust you if you produce a resume with the slightest of accuracies no matter how small it is.  Most perspective employers are not going to take the time to give you the benefit of the doubt unless it is a very unusual circumstance.  So, be very careful.
In the same way that most managers are not going to put up with lies by their employees, perspective employers are not going to accept resumes with inaccuracies.  Think twice before you produce a resume with inaccuracies.
Speaking of resumes:  Are you looking for competent blog writers who can produce those snappy, eye catching, and easy to read blogs?  Are you having difficulty finding those affordable blog writers who are committed to producing blogs that can help you to attract new customers?  Then visit and check out their ghost writing page.

How the wrong attitude can hurt you and damage your reputation

Hey there!  I'm Alix Shadonnay at the Untapped Wealth business desk.
There seems to be a very unhealthy attitude making the rounds among some of our younger aspiring business professionals these days and if they don't correct their attitude real soon they may find that their attempts to enter the business world may be much more difficult than they expected.  Most of all, they may find that no one wants to do business with them.  I have been hearing several complaints of late about some of our younger business professionals when it comes to commitment, dedication, and a willingness to take ownership of their projects.
Two specific recent examples come to mind and one has to do with a young man who started his own computer support business but about a month after starting he decided that it was no longer his priority and he simply left his customers hanging and refused to pay his bills.  Instead, he chose to hide behind his mother's skirts letting her take the wrath of his customers for him.  When he was told that he should pay his bills he simply chose to ignore it.  Not very good.
The second example has to do with a young lady who also started her computer support business but just two weeks after starting she walked out and told her customer that she could make more money working for a large company rather than offering her services to her customers.  This statement may very well be true but when you act like this and present such a lousy attitude word will soon spread that you are not committed, you're unreliable, and you are simply not worth doing business with.  Nothing can hurt you more than negative by word of mouth advertising.  These two individuals have now found themselves at the end of some very negative advertising on the part of disgruntled customers in their respective communities.  If you've made a commitment to start your own business then you should be committed enough and matured enough to deal appropriately and professionally with your customers.  Going into business for yourself is much more than selling a product or service.  It involves being able to provide promised services to your customers and displaying an attitude that is professional, becoming, and in keeping with the ethics and professionalism of the business world.
If you would like to learn more about how to face the challenges of opening your own business then you should read "Untapped Wealth discovered" written by Jeff N Marquis and Kerry J Harrison.  This book will give you a very realistic view of the business world, how to find niche and untapped markets that are extremely lucrative, and how to stay in business for as long as you require.

Profitable home businesses

Hi everyone!  I'm Heather DeMarco at the Untapped Wealth business desk and I'd like to give my thoughts on profitable home businesses.
This is a topic that is very near and dear to my heart because we have several clients who are doing quite well with their home businesses.  The thing to remember though is that you should stay away from those get quick rich schemes that are always promoting the idea that you can make thousands from the comfort of your home.  It's not that simple and if you're not careful you can practically lose the shirt off your back and even your cherished home and possessions if you're not careful.
Profitable home businesses are a definite reality but you need to bear three things in mind:  Your skills, your consumers, and demand.  These three components are crucial in finding the right combination for successful profitable home businesses and after this there are other factors to consider.  Factors such as your motivation, your financial capabilities, and is it the right time and place for you.
Before you take that all important step to setting up a potentially profitable home business you should read "Untapped Wealth Discovered" written by Jeff N Marquis and Kerry J Harrison.  This book gives you a very solid foundation in helping you to discover and build successful profitable home businesses and it is very affordable and reasonably priced.  Visit to pick up your copy.

A successful virtual office business

Good morning!  I'm Kerry J Harrison co-author of "Untapped Wealth Discovered."
This morning I'd like to introduce you to some very successful clients of ours.  Meet Janis and Marty Holt living in Nebraska.  This couple has been clients of ours for over 10 years now and we are absolutely proud of them for the way in which they have been able to build their own business from the ground up.
Janis and Marty graduated from college over 12 years ago, got married upon graduation, and decided to go into business for themselves.  They came into our offices one day after they were referred to us by some friends.  I introduced them to the rest of the team and shortly after this we got down to work to help them create their own employment.  The result of our work was the founding of a virtual office business and for the past six years Janis and Marty have been steadily increasing their annual revenues.  Last year they just missed the seven figure mark but they are very confident that this year they will be able to surpass it with consummate ease.
They have built their business into a 20 employee operation and they offer virtual office services to small businesses.  These services include:  Faxing, receiving and delivery of mails, answering of phones, provision of conference room facilities, plus more.  They have a database of over 1000 happy customers and they have plans to expand their virtual office business to include more services.
Janis and Marty tell us that they would not give up their business to work for anyone else and in Marty's words:  "Nothing can beat being your very own CEO."

An alternative to commercial dry cleaning

Hi there!  I'm Jayna Sheffield at the Untapped Wealth business desk.
This morning I'd like to give you some alternatives to commercial dry cleaning and I hope that this will help those many inquiries that we have received during the last week in response to our posting on the way that the London Cleaners company handled a problem with one of their loyal and long time customers.  To summarize:  The London Cleaners company in Toronto Canada failed to show any sort of good customer service when they refused to compensate one of their long time customers for a pair of dress wool pants that they lost but refused to take responsibility.  Accordingly, the customer has vowed never to return to London Cleaners and they have also decided to spread the word that London Cleaners is not a very reliable service provider.  Our investigator learned that the pair of pants in question was worth about $100 and that the service clerk at London Cleaners did not really care whether or not the customer was compensated.
In answer to all of your inquiries:  There are several home dry cleaning kits that you can buy and they will do a decent job of cleaning and refreshing your clothes.  Procter and Gamble has a product out on the market called Dryer and Clorox has one out called Fresh Care.  Both are very good and involve you buying a kit.  Both kits come with plastic bags and sheets.  You use the bag to put your garments into along with one of the sheets and you put the bag into your dryer and let it tumble for between 10 to 30 minutes as instructed on the kit's package.
Advantages:  You can cut down greatly on your dry cleaning bills, and avoid all those chemicals used by most commercial dry cleaners.  Good for the environment.  Disadvantages:  You would probably still need to visit the commercial dry cleaners for those big stain removals.
On another note:  If you're looking for ghost writers to help you write those blistering blogs, newsletters, articles, or web content, then visit the folks at  These folks can provide you with experienced writers at a very affordable cost and their messages can help you to attract thousands of new customers to your business and generate lots of new revenue.

A booming business idea to consider

Hello there, I'm Matt Chadwick at the business desk.
This morning I want to pass on a tip to you.  Are you looking for a new business venture?  Are you unsure about what type of business will or can potentially bring you mega bucks?  Are you tired of looking for a lucrative business idea?  I may have an answer for you and this comes straight from the horse's mouth as they say.
According to several business experts across America as well as several other business gurus around the world, there seems to be a very real and rapidly growing demand for those types of businesses and specialists in the safety and security field.  The concern over safety and security has always been around but within the last two years this concern has transformed itself into very real demand and at the present time supply for these types of services are lagging woefully behind demand.
Parents are seeking more and more safety products and services for their kids.  Seniors are seeking more and more safety and security services.  Home computer users are clamoring to find those services that they can use to safeguard their computers from Internet hackers.  Small businesses and indeed businesses of all sizes are also seeking computer safety and security services and this list is growing daily.
Are you interested in entering this type of market?  This may be the right time for you to do so.  This market is very real, growing by the day, and consumers are willing to pay well for your services.  If you would like to get started then I have a hint for you.  Jeff N Marquis and Kerry J Harrison have written a book called "Untapped Wealth Discovered" and their book does a fantastic job in giving you ways to develop strategies that would enable you to take advantage of real markets such as the safety and security market.  This book is affordable to everyone, is very reasonably priced, and easy to read.  Besides, you can write directly to the authors if you have any questions.

How telling lies in the workplace can hurt you

Good afternoon, I'm Kerry J Harrison co-author of "untapped Wealth Discovered."
Almost all of us tell a white lie often enough and in many cases if the white lie is not meant to hurt or harm anyone then you would not need to worry too much about it.  However, in a recent survey published yesterday in the United States some very interesting results were revealed when it came to how American companies react to their employees lying on the job or in the workplace.
This survey revealed that 85% of managers surveyed would not promote an employee if they were caught telling a lie and 25% of them would actually fire an employee if they were caught lying.  Some of the most popular lies that managers reported were:
Lying to cover up being late for work, telling a lie to cover up for a fellow employee, lying on a fellow employee, lying to cover up the lateness of a project, lying to save oneself from getting caught doing something not acceptable to the company.
In today's world where it is much easier to lose one's job as opposed to keeping it, it may be wise for you to think really carefully before telling any type of lie be it a white one or a big one.
If you've recently been laid off, or you are looking for a new business venture, or you are seeking to change your life style, then you should give a read to "Untapped Wealth Discovered" written by me and Jeff N Marquis.  We have priced our book so that it is extremely affordable, very economic, and obtainable to those of you who are serious about making a change in your life.

Banks need to offer new types of services

Hey there!  I'm Alix Shadonnay at the business desk.
According to a recent survey published yesterday more and more people are choosing to do their banking from the comfort of their home because it is more convenient and quicker to do.  According to this survey it takes a person an average of about three minutes to do their banking either on the Internet or at an automatic banking machine while it takes them an average of about eight minutes to do the same type of transactions at a branch.
The reason for this difference in time is being attributed to more time being spent with a teller at the branch and now banks are facing a real possibility with having to come up with more innovative ways to attract customers to their branches.  I don't believe that the need for branches will ever go away because there are certain types of services and transactions that would always probably require a face-to-face meeting between clients and branch staff.  Nevertheless, banks cannot use this criteria to hold on to their customers.  They need to do more to attract and hold their customers.
There is a definite lesson for all of us to learn from this present situation and that is we also need to find new and innovative ways to keep and expand our customer base.  I suggest that you start doing this today by picking up a copy of "Untapped Wealth Discovered" written by Jeff N Marquis and Kerry J Harrison.  This book is extremely well written, easy to read, filled with proven strategies, and very affordable.  It caters to small businesses, entrepreneurs, retirees, seniors, and above all to those who are serious about finding safe ways to increase their incomes, cut their costs, and expand their customer base.

A successful bed and breakfast business

Hello there!  I'm Matt Chadwick at the business desk.  This morning I'm pleased to introduce you to Jacob and Kim, two hard working retirees with a very successful bed and breakfast business.
A few years ago Jacob and Kim retired from their high paying and very stressful jobs in the IT industry and they decided that they wanted to do something else, maybe open up a small business to fill their time and make some additional income to ensure their comfort in their golden years.  So after some consideration they bought a house in the beautiful countryside of New Hampshire and decided to turn it into a bed and breakfast.
They employed skilled labor to help turn it into their desired bed and breakfast and after spending considerable funds, time, and effort, they opened up for business.  At first things went reasonably well but about six months after opening their doors for business they began to run into problems such as not being able to attract enough clients and those that came did not seem to be too happy with their service or facilities.
Jacob and Kim began to be concerned but they did not want to give up without a fight.  So on to the Internet they went and it was while doing their research that they came across the website for Jeff Marquis and Kerry Harrison.  They became quite interested in this website but at the same time they were not entirely convinced that Marquis and Harrison could really help them.  Nevertheless they took a chance and contacted them.  They managed to secure an appointment and after a few meetings with Marquis, Harrison, and their team of consultants and researchers, they decided to follow the suggestions and strategies that were given to them.
In the words of Jacob:  "It's the best thing that we could have done for ourselves and our business.  We discovered things that we had never even thought of and we were shown some very interesting strategies.  Things like how we should have made our bed and breakfast more accessible to seniors.  Build ramps, lower the light switches, build cabinets that were easier to open, taps that were easier to turn, and other similar things."
Before Jacob and Kim met Marquis and Harrison their annual revenues were less than $30,000 but since starting to work with them they have managed to bolster their annual revenues to handsome six figures.  Jeff N Marquis and Kerry J Harrison have been in the business for 20 years and they work tirelessly to help small businesses and entrepreneurs get on their feet.  They have written a book called "Untapped Wealth Discovered" and this book is filled with strategies on how you can increase your revenues, lower your costs, and expand your customer base.  You can purchase a copy of "Untapped Wealth Discovered" by visiting  This book is very well priced, is a present best seller, and has the potential to change your life style in a very positive way.
