Scientists devise cyber security 'neighbourhood watch'
By Donna J. Jodhan
How concerned are you about cyber piracy? Do you think that we as a country are doing enough to combat this growing menace? Do you believe that we would some day soon be able to stamp out cyber piracy completely? These are all questions that keep coming back to haunt us and I am afraid that if we do not act now, cyber piracy may soon start to get out of hand or maybe, it has already begun to get out of hand.
I for one believe that there are things that we can do in order to stem the tide of cyber piracy and I also know that certain countries are taking affirmative steps to deal with the situation. The one thing that we can start to do is to build awareness and to start thinking of ways of combating cyber pirates. Cyber piracy may never go away but we can definitely do things to make it harder for cyber pirates to have their way. Doing nothing is not an option. Doing something definitely is.
